New Exhibition

NANZUKA is pleased to present “Forgotten Mysteries of the Sublunar Realm,” an exhibition of new works by American artist Marion Peck at NANZUKA UNDERGROUND. This exhibition marks the artist’s second solo show at NANZUKA following her first exhibition in Japan held at the gallery in 2022.

MARION PECK / LADY BIRDS

For this second edition with Mármol&Fa, we present Lady Bird by Marion Peck, an unexpected and truly special return, as the artist had not produced an edition of her work in years.

The piece depicts three creatures with the bodies of birds and human faces, inspired by the earliest representations of mythological sirens — not as mermaids, but as winged beings whose songs seduced sailors. To capture their magnetic and utterly irresistible expression, Marion turned to 1960’s catalogues, infusing the work with a timeless, dreamlike and deeply evocative atmosphere.

The edition has been produced from her original painting and is limited to just 60 impressions. Each piece has been personally supervised and signed by the artist, ensuring that every print retains her distinctive presence and unique character.
